Do you want to experience a relaxing holiday on Spain’s Costa del Sol in a well appointed luxury apartment with stunning views to the Mediterranean Sea?

A holiday on the beach with all its attractions is not the only thing the Costa del Sol has to offer it really does have something for everyone sandy beaches, year – round sunshine, excellent sporting facilities.

Wind+Surfing

By making just short trips you have the opportunity of getting to know the most genuine aspects of Andalusian culture.

There are many organised excursions you can take or why not even hire your own car and explore for yourself? There’s a whole lot to see out there.

Alcores Sunrise Management use an efficient and reliable car hire company, which have an extensive range of new cars available. Vehicles can be picked up and left at the airport ready for your arrival in Spain with the keys and directions to your apartment.

If you prefer not to drive why not take advantage of our airport collection and drop off service. A member of our team will drop you directly to your property thus avoiding the stress of finding your apartment or collecting the keys.

Calahonda has all the necessary amenities for all of the family – shops, supermarkets, doctors, dentists, bars and restaurants. We can offer you advice on all aspects and the best restaurants, bars and entertainment to visit along the Costa del Sol.

Waterpark

Calahonda is ideally situated between Fuengirola and Marbella; both only 10 minutes drive away. In Fuengirola as well as the many shops, there is indoor bowling, crazy golf, karting, aqua park and the award winning zoo. There is another aqua park in Torremolinos and both are well supervised and have slides and pools to suit everyone.

One of our favourite spots is nearby at Cabopino you will find a small port with restaurants overlooking the boats. There is a very nice beach here with beach bars and they offer all types of water sports, or you can simply swim in the refreshing, cool blue water of the Mediterranean and get a suntan under the warmth of the golden sun, while enjoying the peaceful delights of sand and sea.

The white villages of Andalusia nestling in the hills are well worth a visit. The charming and fascinating village of Mijas offers spectacular views over the coast and you can take a donkey ride through its narrow streets.
Tivoli-world

On the way to Malaga you will find Benalmadena and “Tivoli World” near to Arroyo de la Miel. This famous amusement park offers fairground rides, amusement arcades, restaurants and evening shows. You can take a cable car ride to the Calamorro Mountain. At the Fortuna nightclub in Benalmadena Costa you can see floor shows or gamble in the Torrequebrada casino. The sea life centre at the award-wining, must-see Puerto Marina yacht harbour is also worth a visit.

Malaga – Spain’s fifth largest city and a major international port is a very interesting city but parking is difficult. Taking the train from Fuengirola and getting off at the last station in the heart of the city is best. Malaga is an ancient city where you can still see signs of its Arab and Roman occupation. The main streets are the Alcazaba fortress, the Gibralfaro Castle, the cathedral and the museum of Fine Arts.

The famous Marbella offers beautiful shops and its old town with the Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Square) is a pleasant traffic free spot with bars and shops. To the west of Marbella lies Puerto Banus, with its luxurious yachts and a large variety of shops, over 350 of which you will find open all year round. Well worth a visit to see the Jet Set

Skiing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

The Sierra Nevada Mountains is located barely a stones throw from the Mediterranean coast, it has practically guaranteed sunshine, the best spring snow conditions in Europe and is still reasonably priced compared to many of its European counterparts. As one of Europe's highest resorts it has a surprisingly long season and traditionally opens at the end of
November running through to the end of April or even into the first week of May.
